I downloaded 1.05 a while back, had no problems. The short version of my problem is it seems that version 1.02 is still running. When I boot up the game it shows v 1.02 in the top right corner. With every other game I've installed and than loaded an update for, the update automatically became the dominate system. That doesn't appear to be the case here. Do I have to delete all the files from 1.02 that were supposed to be suplimented by 1.05? I don't see a reason to update to 1.06 if 1.02 is going to keep running.

Recommend you:
1. Uninstall
2. Reinstall from CD
3. Install the 106 patch. This is a program in itself. Just run it like anyother s.w and make sure the path it is to be installed in, is the same as the one that the game was installed to.
4. Install 106b. This is a zip archive. Within the archive are the files that have been tweaked. They will have the correct folder to be installed in under the root installation folder for the game, i.e. the one you installed the game and 106 patch to.
Either run winzip and extract all the files to the main install folder for the game. Or from explorer, drap the whole archive file to the main folder of the game.
Then give it another shot.

The problem may have been that, starting with patch 1.05 IIRC, you can choose where to install the patch. Maybe the default was not the correct location so the patch is sitting in its own folder somewhere now instead of updating your previous version. In any case you should really use at least 1.06 and probably 1.06b as 2Coats said.

Sorry. I must have missed you're last post. I moved recently and haven't dug the disk out yet. I'm working on it but my 1.5 year old son is quite demanding of my time. I'll let you know how it turns out. The game installation I mean. My son is still a work in progress.
