Help Pls

i really want to play on the vnet but everytime i host or try to join a game it says "no game host found at ip address <there ip address> please check the ip address and connection and try again" and everyone else can join but i cant ive tried turning off my networks firewall im on internet sharing on an ms network windows xp please help.

If you have any kind of router or so you need to open certain ports. You can read all about it in this thread:
