I'd suggest opening all the fullscreen skins that have shotmarks in Photoshop. Overlay them so that the first one is overlaid at 50% opacity, the 2nd at 33%, 3rd at 25% and so on. Be sure you line them up so the shotmarks are on top of each other because they are in different locations on each skin. Flatten the image. Desaturate the image (don't grayscale). Duplicate the layer. Make the original layer invisible. The next step may take some time--in the copied layer, crop out everything but the shotmarks. Save the template as a photoshop object. That should be your basic template. then when you make your skin, drag the skin into a layer on top of the original but below your shotmark template. You may have to play around with the opacity, contrast, method of overlay, etc. That should reproduce it closely enough. I'm sure the guys at Paradox work from a template. You just have to reproduce it.
