Help updating my ROme VV registred

Hello!

I have my Rome Vae Victis game registred here but i can´t find the technical support forum for this so i'll post it here for the time being.

Like i said I've had Rome VV for a few years and i reinstalled it now and have enjoyed the game, though i now wish to expand and try a few mods. I've tried to update my game, however when I go to apply a patch (either 2.32 or 2.31) I get the message "Rome EU Vae Victus is not installed".

Hello, Duxxun. I'm not certain if this is any help but where exactly did you buy the game from?

Depending on the platform (Steam, Paradox, Gamersgate...) different registry settings are being applied in your PC-registry (also dependant to the type of Windows your're using).

So when using e.g. the 2.32c patch of Vae Victis (official release for Gamersgate) it simply might not find the correct game path and thus thinks that there's no game installed...

To see Tech Support you need to register the Rome base game, registering an expansion is not enough.

And yes, you must source the patch from the same distributor you bought the game from. The patch file you get in-game is good for the Paradox boxed or GamersGate download versions only.
