I created a submod that adds a signet ring trait to the game but whenever I try to use the sub-mod it seems to screw up some of the traits. For example, characters who are supposed to have direwolves instead have boars. Valyrian steel swords are shuffled around, etc. Why is this happening? What do I need to do to prevent it from occurring?

I think I may have figured it out. I was using a savegame to test the mod but it appears when I start a new game it doesn't screw up the traits. Also, I think it's because the traits added (there were two, a ring and a sword) "bumped" the other traits down in the ruler designer and somehow that bumped them all in the game too. Is there a way to put the traits at the end of the ruler designer?

You need to make a new ZZZZZZZZZ (whatever but last name alphabetic sorting on the trait list) file.
So old savegames are compatible with new traits.

If you want to make new custom traits.
