Help with getting EU2 Music

Hey everybody. I have eu2 installed with 1.09 and I get sound effects, but no music. I get the jack in the box/ then the napoleon quote/ music sequences,

but after that nada. Music's turned on, and set to 99, and I can play music in the eu2 folder, but I get no music inside the game. What can I do to fix this?
 
Please read this thread, particularly posts #4 and #5 - this usually results from having moved or reinstalled the game without a full uninstall.
