Help with installing on XP

Hi everyone

I recently had to format my HD and I installed windows XP on it, I've just tried to install EU 2 again but when I try to run the installer I get the following error message.

An installation support file could not be installed

Incorrect function

Anyone got any idea what this is and what I can do about it?

First I would install on an other computer to check that the game cd is not damaged.

Im not very good at this stuff but one thing you can ask yourself is:
Did you install motheboard drivers directly after installing Windows XP? Is it the latest drivers?

Service Pack 2 also can cause some problems (not in every case, however).

Oh dear, don't I feel silly. Sorted the porblem out now, CD was in the wrong drive!
