So I used the "overthrow the monarchy" plot as a vassal and turned the Trident into a noble oligarchy. I figured that it's something like an elective monarchy, if you fail to be king then you lose the capital duchy and county (Riverrun) and keep your original duchy (Harrenhal for me). However after my current character die and another guy become king, I will lose all titles. Can anyone explain how the mechanics work?
