Help with the old router problem

Gentlemen,

No matter how hard I try, I cannot get through to a game on Valyrienet, I have a SMC 7004 ABR 'Baricade' router. This is what happened:

Situation 1:

- try to join game and I get thrown out 'no game found at 34234324823648264 etc. etc. etc.

I change some stuff in my router and we go to sit 2:

-I try to join and nothing happens just freeze for 30 secs then back to chat

turn off firewall which might be the problem and to sit 3:

- back to the old 'no game found' etc. etc. etc.

Help Help Help Help!!!!!!

never mind, it works now!!!!!

Just played my first game of MP, China kicked Japan's ass! very cool!

Marcus, if I may, how'd you get it to work?

I got my roommate the tech guy to fix it for me, all at the cost of....... one cup of tea and a few pieces of salami to keep him fed while he cursed at the screen.
I think all the info is here, you just have to look around.

P.S. Multiplayer is really cool, but some of the guys have no clue what the hell they're doing.

Dang, Cause a Friend of mine has the same troubles, and I'm not sure how I can get him to be able to play with us.
