pretty noob at this, dont want to break my game
steam version 1.05, i found the file deep in steamapps
i can see some easy solutions in db file
curious if those are best solutions
format
some things i want to do (my current ideas and solution)

easy ones
1.awesome generals!!! (i changed the leader xp from 1.3 to 2.0) (is it enough?)
1a.perhaps a way to see what their max level is in game? i get upset if theres an 8 buried in the sea of leader pool
2.no ai nukes ever!!! (no solution yet, concerned if i just prevent the mission it will still research and build?)
3.espionage changes (no solution yet, get rid of smear campaigns forever!)

hard ones (maybe impossible)
1.not happy with allies and puppets, is their a way for allies to just become part of my nation ? units, leaders, tech teams and all ?
2. at some point the rest of the world should become scared enough to put aside differences and combine against me, perhaps becoming one nation or at least all allies vs all axis ...ect ect
2a. if that was too hard to model i would still prefer 2 or 3 massive blocs from start of game.... pretty sure i can balance this with join dates for ALL countries
the tricky part would be to allow the player to be leader of alliance, while still allowing the ai to absorb all the rest, unlikely bedfellows or not
again not afraid of huge leader pools and tech teams, the ai would just pick the best ones right? they all seem to research the same things anyway

i realize this might not be possible for ai or would break it completely, like italy retreating towards greece while france occupies all the hexes they just left
but at least want to absorb the allies of the countries im playing with full access to leaders, units, and tech teams

To try and answer a few of those:

Easy Ones

1. Dunno, I never saw a point in focusing much on Generals' skill level;
1a. You need to be more specific. You mean the 'max skill they can hope to obtain' or to list through those with the highest skill (which is in the game);
2. You can add a 'trigger ai=no' bit to the event that unlocks the nuke tech three in the Secret Weapon tab;
3. It's not bad enough to warrant a change in the espionage tab;

Hard Ones

1. You can either go the command cheats way by claiming all the allied/puppet land and then with acceptall command demand it and take it. To obtain Tech Teams and IC with that move you can enable the options at the start of the game. The other option is to set up a two/three event chain. The early bit to recognize if you have a puppet/allied and then A) add cores on the land you intend to annext and B) annex it by event. The other events could be about adding units that bear a name akin to those used by the annexed nation and the final one to 'awake' the generals/air generals/admirals to the list of yours. Of course this option would require you to first copy-paste with new IDs the other generals to the nation you intend to use, add their 'available date' to 1999 so that those are not available until you awake them;
2. If the plan is to get ganged upon a la HOI4's Ragnarok 1937 then you can do so by either killing one of the main factions, then use one of the events to change the faction name you are claiming and adding yourself as the first member and leader;
2a. If the player nation is the first country in a newly-claimed faction then they automatically turns into the Faction leaders. Ai tends to run things odd with their economy, so if their money production is low they will adapt their technological choice to those fitting to that situation. The higher the tech team's skill, the greater the drain on the money will be;

in the meantime i changed days till nuke from 80 to 9000
not against the ai obtaining the tech or breaking the chain for nuclear power follow on tech but just want no bombs (str or v2 or icbm)
what do u think?
