i tried accessing my save but it just says object reference not set to an instance of an object please help

Seems like a mod problem. Please check your mods with the list below to see if any of them is outdated. Replace those that are

Search the link posted and it will tell you if you have a newer mod available. Just compare your workshop mods to the mod list. replace whatever it suggests. for example, unsubscribe the old and subscribe the new. don't keep them both or it may crash the game.
