yall are probably going to laugh at me but what is pixel shader 2.0 i tried to play and a pop up says i need that in order to play

Its a way of telling how good your video card is. Putting it simply, its how complex calculations the card can do for each pixel on the screen.
What graphics card do you have? if you dont know, post your dxdiag.
here is how:
Press Windows Start Button -> Run -> type dxdiag -> press enter.
DirectX Diagnostic tool opens up.
Press "Save all information" Now it will create an dxdiag.txt.
Attach that here to a post.
