I am trying to do my 1st MP game with EU2 with my Brother.


We try using internet and when we put the IP address it says no game in that address. Does not matter if him or I host.

And Valkirenet does not connect.

Vnet doesnt work, because it is not supported by Pdox anymore.

It might be a problem with your network/router.

Shut down any firewalls or open the ports, which are needed for EU2. There are some threads about this issue here in the MP- or techsupport-forum.

Otherwise try the softwares Hamachi or Comode. They both set up a personal network within the internet.

We both downloaded the Hamachi program. I made a network. He joined it.


We turned the game on and I made a game on the Internet.

He typed in join using my Hamachi IP address and still could not find a game. I tried hosting and he could not find my game on the Internet.

*Do both of us have to turn off the Firewall in the control panel and on the virus protector? I can but he can't and won't.

Do we use the Internet or Local area? We are in different states.

Im not sure, whats your problem.

Do you get an error message? I mean, did you delete the spaces behind the IP?

i heard about comodo 1-2 weeks ago, but never got to use it, because the session was chancelled! there is a post in the WoP-thread by someone, who wanted it more than hamachi...

Well, comodo does not have the same crap messages during login as hamachi (conection to mediation server failed), or a maximum number of users per network.

And i am able to host and join games via comodo... But am not with hamachi. So i guess it is better.

2300-2400 for eu2. 47400-47700 could help as well, but I am unsure whether those were for V-net.
