Hey i'm new and i have some questions how to play in MP... how do i communicate with fellow players, what server must i choose from game settings... i have europa.valkyrienet.com :/ and what patch is the game on :rolleyes: thx, tho i dont know if its the right place to post..
 
vnet is down nowadays
contact one of the games to sign and play there at regular basis
 
Well, as Tonioz said, Vnet is down nowadays and even then most games are organised here on the forum. If you would like to join a game you should look for one which has open spots, but be wary, most games don't just accept 'noobs'...

Let me first welcome you to our forum. Always a pleasure to see new players.
Communication with other players through ICQ, www.icq.com. Download the latest version of ICQ. You'll be given an ICQ number, put in it your signature so that everyone knows.

EU2 patches: practically always 1.09. Maps may differ from vanilla (= original EU2 map) to MYMAP to ******'s map, to Kasperus map, ... Depends on the GM.

V-net is down a lot lately. Normally, you go through internet. The host will tell you what his IP is. Enter his IP (don't forget to delete a space at the end of the IP number you just entered!!) and in a sec (more like a minute), you'll be on his comp. Do not choose your country when you're in. Just say "in", so that they know you're present and wait.

You'll do fine, you'll see.

I saw on one of ur screenshots that u chatted on upper left side of the screen. What button must i press to do it too? Have'nt found out. Or its somehow throught ICQ?

The TAB button is used for talking with the other players.

Take a look at this game it's mostly newcommers so you will fit in nicely.
