Hi i have a problem playing HoI2 ever time i load it to play it locks up chould it have anything to do with the fact i have two operating systeams on my computer each on a sep drive ?.If mor einfo is need i cna provide it.

Try turning off your anti virus, I have noticed that Norton tends to lock my pc up when I play HOI2

Okay let's try some standard things.
1) Rename the AVI folder to AVI_back
2) Set the color depth to 16BIT
3) Turn off everything in the background like E-mail/ICQ/Messenger, Virus protection and everything in the system tray beside the clock.
4) Update your Windows, update your Video card drivers and audio card drivers. Then repeat steps 1-3.

All i had to do was get rid of my geforce 4 vid card and replace it with a radion some thing or other and now it works fine but thanks.

Well replacing your video card is a little more extreme then what I had suggested. ;)

it may be that but thats what was casieng the issues none of my programs where working with the nivida geforce 4

Yes but if you had updated the driver for maybe they would have. ;)

Then again maybe it was dammaged somehow. :)

Anyway Radeon much better card.

I did update but for some reason a nividia geforce 4 card is not a gameing card its great for grapihc programs but not game or so the company said.

Funny they told you that, but okay.

I got this form the guy who sold me this computer and hey i cant complain this new card works and i cna now play all my computer games again so am happy :)
