GERMANY


1 JAN 1936 - 1 JAN 1937



Germany, as the nation of peace it is, decided to focus on its indistruial buildup, and advansed tecnological planning.

After arresting a man, who during questioning admitted that he was a spy for MI6, the chief of Gestapo decided to infiltrate British ranks, and to retaliate aigenst this agression. The punishment was that 2 british resharshprodjects was sabotaged and more or less had to restart.

Since the retalliation for this, have jet no forigen inteligence officer been seen in Germany.


The Spanish peapole is fighting for thair freedom, as thair leader Franco, have declered that the Spanish Revulution have started.
Franco have also recived aid from the Axis, and spesial aid from Italy.

A New Player In Europe

The Romanian people are ready for a change.

No longer accepting to be a backwater nation, Romania has aligned itself with other nations which have been brutalized by Communists and Democratic nations.

The New Roman Empire of Romania will soon encompass a large expanse of the earth with an ultra-modern army, and an iron will.

The nations of Europe will soon see a new Great Power rise.
 
BRAZIL

Brazil stands ready for a change: its time to do away with the fascist policies of Getulio Vargras, and let the people choose their government---freely.

Though the rest of the world is currently at peace, there lies under it a chaos---Brazil must be ready to face this challenge should it come, whether it be in war or politics.

But, Brazil must be prepared for the worst: that is why industrialization and militarization is, unfortunately, quite necessary----Brazil will not be caught "with its pants down".
 
Spanish Civil War

By July 1936 war erupted in Spain. The majority of the north of the peninsula, along with seville and the saharian colonies decided to support General Franco in decapitating the Left-wing government.

Plans didnt go well though. Seville fell after an extremely well organized attack by the republicans which attacked from 3 directions and outnumbered the nationalists.

With 6 divisions lost in the battle for southern spain, the nationalists concentrated in taking catalunia. This didnt happen though, since the republicans received 8 divisions that were fighting in the south. With only about 10 divisions the nationalists were facing a an army with the double of its numbers.

The nationalist airforce did its best to gain air superiority, which it achieved with pride, but was unable to slow the advance of the republicans, which launched an offensive in the east, pushing the nat.s to the asturias. Reinforcements came from afrika but too few. exausted and late.

Italy intervined with an offensive on the eastern coast quickly defeating the republicans. The true spanish then pushed south and Madrid is falling as im rewriting this.

Reinforcements came as well to be deployed but too few. Still they did a good job.

The only positive achievement on this was the gain of experience of Italian troops that now have faced real war ever since WW1.

Italian AAR 1936-1937

The Proud Italian people are ready to show their power to the world.

The Germans took good note of the italian blitzkrieg as ethopia was conquered, in swift motion.
After the war the focus has been on mobilising the contry for the struggles that out mighty leader see for the future.

The war came sooner than expected when we saw our nationistic friends in spain get in a bit of trouble versus the evil replublicans.
The proud navy quickly sent our elite forces to spain and the eastcoast feel to our troops. Sevile has been taken, and madrid is about to fall.
Replublicans has moved to intercept the Italian army, allowing nationalist spain to break out and rout the enemy. Now the replublicans are slowly but surely getting encircled with few places to run.

During wartime the home administration has suffered slightly from the inexperienced leadership, but that is soon to be corrected.
 
Usa

The USA is trying to find the will to pull itself out of the great depression. Seeing improvements in the economy caused by FDR's new deal, the people gladly reelected him to another term. The USA is to busy with its own internal issues to get involved in European or Asian issues directly.

Nationalist China aar 36-37

Nationalist China

China has been divided into different zones, in south Guanzhi, in west yunnan, in north shanxi and the communist. China has to be reorganised, and it's up to the truly nationalist so save China from a downfall. Japan is seeking to expand, and as Manchuria was lost to Japan, China has to be prepared not to loose any more provinces. A peace agreement was signed in March between the Nationalists and the communists of China. In June 1936, Guanzhi declared war on China as no troops were placed at the borders. Nationalist China was altough prepared to fight a new war, and at winter the Mighty China could annex it's former enemy. At same time Yunnan did also declare war on China and this fight is currently ongoing. Hopefully a peace-agreement can be solved, war is only bad and doesnt solve anything. Hopefully China can be rebuilded to a Superpower with it's enormous manpower that never will drain. In the east Japan is growing more and more, and this is a bad development for China, who is afraid for the Japanese. The intelligence says that Japan has tried to send a lot of new spies, with only minimum succes. Only time will now what will happen in China. All we know is that China is getting bigger and bigger, and will be well prepared if someone would try to take it's land.

Uk 36-37

UK has gone through a difficult period. Our sovereign has changed two times, first George V died and then Edward ran off with some American women. This pissed off a lot of people and the government has desperately tried to calm people down by increasing the production of consumer goods. To get out of the depression the British government has focused on increasing our industrial capacity. Germany has sent many spies to UK and then the government began a counterespionage Champaign to flush out enemy spies. We found out many countries were spying on us. Even our friends Australia, France and USA.

France

France has begun some longterm military techresearching, since its obvious that the newly created fascist alliance in central europe will eventually start a new war. But with the maginotline there is nothing that we have to fear really and the people of france is living happier than ever.

Since when? I didn't play a test game before I joined....

Granted, that was months ago, but I have yet to hear any rule regarding test games for a Tryal member unless they are moving to Permanent member.

We do small battlescenarios with new players just to make sure they know the basics. Perhaps you slipped through somehow. But i think we did some kind of balkan mini multiplayergame with you at the same time as we had our first session with you, when you had not really had a chance to screw up the maingame yet. If you would like to have a testgame id be happy to do a small scenario with you. :)

The German Situation is exelent.
Our Spies rules the knowlage of the wourld, and our Indystry is not beeten by any nation jet to come.
Our tecnology is so extreme that not evan peapole from the future will anderstand it.
We are for sure the best nation ever the wourld have seen.
Reports RADIO BERLIN today.


The German industrialysation program have set the Berlin Stock Exhange to a sky high leavel, and our brokers are earning more and more for our nation.


May the German Empire once and for all prove its position in the wourld.

BRAZIL

With the fascist government of Getulio Vargras ousted and a democratic government newly elected, Brazil is now enjoying Free Market reforms along with the strong move towards globalization and a more "open" society.

Brazil has been influenced immensely by the United Kingdom every since signing an alliance treaty with the Commonwealth two years ago, and this change has helped the reforms. But, it has also begun a militarization campaign like no other; with Germany seemingly gearing up for war and with the UK and its allies preparing for the worst slowly but surely, there is little choice for Brazil but to increase its strength and strive to be prepared for what may be looming in the future: a World Wide War.

Brazil's industrialization campaigns of the past have immensely assisted in the militarization efforts, and it is expected that the new booming economy will benefit even more from the buildup.

It seems that the phrase "Peace in our Time" may very well have been a Hitlerish joke, but Brazil isn't taking the chance---she will stand with her allies, and fight the Right Fight.
 
Italian AAR Session II

Italy Jan 37 - Aug 38

There where some very significant fire works in Madrid for New years eve going into 1937, Italian and nationalist spainish troops was on the very edge of the city that fell to the mighty forces a few days after. Within two more weeks the repulicans had been flushed out of their last strongholds (Valadolid and Bilbao).
The Generous Italian leadership gave up spain to Franco with a cheek kiss and happy soldiers went home to greet their girlfriends and mothers most of all ;-)

Following the was the Italian leadership has pushed industrilisation to new peaks of performance, and Italy is starting to shine in Glory.
Technological advances are being made. Researchers are never the less researchers and the need to speed and excecution often needs to be expresed very clearly to get any effect.
The Italian leadership decided to enlist the help of our Neighbours in France's who has graceously given our inteligence service a few blue prints, with more are on the way...........................
 
The dark shadow of Hitler is hanging over Europe. The neighbouring countries are under treat of his desire for lebensraum. Hitler claims that he only wants to unite the German-speaking people in one nation, but many fear that his ultimate goal will be nothing short of total world domination. Britain is no condition to fight another war with the German led alliance right now and therefore the British government has to be to careful not to provoke Hitler into war.
Britain is not alone in concern of what Germany and her allies are planning. Portugal, Yugoslavia, Greece, Saudi Arabia and Brazil have joined the allies and the British leadership is confidant that this great coalition and be giving in to Hitler territorial demands of German speaking areas a new world war can be avoided. But the government has been busy building a modern army, navy and an airforce in the event the world will erupt in flames once more.
 
Sovietunion

Jan 1937 - Aug 1938

Soviet is in the middle of a fullscale industrialization of the country which was before Lenin a pure agricultural land. Now factories are popping up everywhere and people are enthusiasticly working in the siberian coalmines.
Even german and spanish former spies are begining to realize the greatness of the sovietunion while working down there.

Only in the military we had some people who doubted our new glorious leader Stalins methods but they have all been "removed" from their leaderpositions.



The workers paradise is such a success that people in neighbouring countries seem to want to join us. Poland, Finland and the baltic countries first and foremost are the most impressed it seems. Maybe one day, with our help, they can become soviet republics and join us.

Usa

The US continues the struggle to pull itself out of the depressed econonmy, that started in 1929. World events are slowly changing the isolationalist government to a more inteventionalist view. FDR continues to advocate a more Hawkish veiw of world politics, while pressing for more home manufacturing and labor programs to be created by the government. The USA is starting to look forward to more domestic prosperity for its people.

Rising Sun

Our sun is brighter with each passing days. We achieved many thinks so far, our industry soon more advanced than the western counties ,but their greed knows no boundary. They think they can enslave this part of the globe but we will show them where their place is .
First we will settle attrocities in china and unite it againt their real enemies the british and the french. They spread chaos and lies from the day they arrived then turned us against eachother. With God emperor Hirohito bless we will purge this infestation from our homes.
Our freedom forces iniciall attack was very promising but soon tuned out the tain is so thick that we had to stop our advance for a short time.
That time is soon over :p
