Hey really enjoying the game

I am playing a long game on PC with about 900 population. Day 680.

Colonists were always out of food, tools and clothes. 100 of them would run to the same storage that only had 40 items available. Colonist would keep running towards that storage even after its run out. This would repeat over and over again as they raced around the city all targeting the next limited supply. Fix was to make one single storage hold only Infinite clothes and another for only tools. Downside though is that some of them now waste a lot of time running long distance to that storage.

Same thing happened with high quality meals.

A weird side effect of this issue was that while all those colonists were running together for tools/clothes they were spreading radiation and illness rapidly! draining iodine and antibiotics like crazy.

Maybe switch food to be like medicine, colonists go to a mess hall and just auto deduct the unit from any available storage?

Would be nice if there was a way for field farmers to automatically harvest before a winter storm. It's a pain to go around to them all and tell them to harvest. Yes, greenhouses, I have 30 of those but I like large farms too.

I pretty much have to let the winter kill off my homeless colonists because it's not possible to build homes or services fast enough to meet the demands of population growth.

Thanks to the world map outposts, superior guns and funbox supplies are basically unlimited. Would be nice to have more superior cloths and tools sources on the map.

Entertainment is silly for large cities. I have 20 or so storm domes in the corner of the map

A lot of guard towers scattered throughout the city to fend off random woodland creature attacks. A lot of times the guard posts aren't staffed because the colonist decided to live far away or has to get resources far away.
