Description
Total manpower is supposed to be 11 million, free manpower is at 1.78 million, used manpower is 200 thousand

Steps to Reproduce
I invaded the Soviets, garrisoning sent my gun reserves into the negative and for some reason free manpower started to be drawn endlessly. Garrisoning went to 2 million, then reduced back to 400 K. the 1.6 million manpower came back, but the other millions did not.

Thanks for your report. Before I investigate further, could you please send us a save file from when the bug occurs? Could you also please tell us what system you're using? (Windows/Mac/Linux, Steam/Windows Store/Paradox Launcher).

Hello, thank you for the prompt reply.

I am currently running linux ubuntu 18.04, I use steam to start the HOI4 launcher and play the game.

For further clarification, I thought the manpower was being used someplace that wasn't indicated, so I kept the game running for a few years getting the resistance level down, seeing if that would have any impact

Would you happen to know where the save file is located ? Going through the terminal and exploring the steam files I find thefolder for HOI4 but no save folder or file. I believe it might be stored somewhere else like on Windows but I have no idea where :s

Edit / adding new info:

As a follow up, after searching I found the save files for victoria 2, but none of the other games attributed a number by steam for the Windows folder layout are HOI4.

Hello, this is a preemptive notification.

I tried another run, this time I had more free manpower than total manpower, even with 2 million men in the army.

I assume some values are not displayed, nor was I aware of certain mechanics, ie garrisons actually take manpower losses if they are facing high resistance.

What probably happened was that because I had no guns available, nor any equipment, all my garrisons were killed yet because it's not displayed in the UI from my knowledge, I thought my MP just disappeared into nothing, as the total pop count is still shown to be the same.
