HOI2: Complete order of install

My apologies if this topic is already somewhere in the forum, but I searched and couldn't find a definitive answer.

I just purchased the Complete HOI2 series last night from GamersGate and will install the series tonight, but I just wanted to make sure that I understood what order I'm supposed to install the different programs.

Would this be correct?

1) HOI2 (no patches listed under My Games for HOI2 so I assume the download has been patched already?)
2) Doomsday
3) Doomsday 1.3 patch
4) Arm
5) Arm 1.2 patch

Any and all replies are greatly appreciated.

Also I could use a refresher as well on installation order. Gamersgate downloads in progress. =)

Oh man, do I ever feel like an idiot! I thought Doomsday was just an addon to HoI2. I just realized that they are two standalone games. Paint me stupid!

So I'm going to just install Doomsday with the 1.3a patch followed by Arma with the 1.2 and 1.3b2 patches.

sweet - that means that I actually have no lost disks at all - my old vanilla HoI2 disk is meaningless when I still have my gamersgate HoI2: DD download available!

So I'm going to just install Doomsday with the 1.3a patch followed by Arma with the 1.2 and 1.3b2 patches.

You don´t need to patch Doomsday.

i am getting completely lost in the maze of HoI2, HoI2: DD, etc, patches,... there's actually 3 games, with 3 different version-number-progressions...

correct me if I'm wrong, but it goes:
HoI2: 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3
and then, completely separately,
DD: 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3
and then, completely separately,
DD:Arma: 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3a, 1.3b, 1.3b2

So, if I have Arma, the most up-to-date, vanilla-version is DD:Arma, 1.3a? or is it 1.2? or is it 1.3b2? I'm lost in the maze again.

I just DL'd this:

didn't see anything in the list about 1.3 or higher for Doomsday Armageddon...

To tell you the truth, I didn't install HoI2. I only installed DD and Arma figuring that installing HoI2 would be redundant.

Anyway, the following is the install order I did:

1) DD
2) DD 1.3a patch ( I already installed it before 13th warrior's reply)
3) Arma
4) Arma 1.2 patch
5) Arma 1.3b2 patch (this is optional, but the CORE mods needs it, find this patch in the Doomsday forum here)

Everything is working well.

I've just installed the Graphics Improvement Project (Wow!) and now working on installing CORE.

Huh. What I did was:

1. HoI2
2. Doomsday
3. Armegeddon
4. Arma Patches
