I have HoI2DD v1.2
I am using Windows XP Media Center Edition.
I started the 1936 campaign, and it is now March 1946. Romania and Hungary swtiched sides a few days ago (March 9/10), joining the Comintern. However, I, Bulgaria, annexed Romania on the next day after capturing their capital. 1 day after my annexation of Romania, i got the "Bulgaria Switches Sides Event', and i, seing the hopless situation, accepted. The screen became black, and i got an error report from Windows that HOI2 had eoncountered an error and needs to close. I reloaded the game, and again selected yes when asked to switch sides. I reloaded again and this time selected no, stay with Germany. The game didn't shut down, but continued as nothing have happened. For the last time, i reloaded the game and tried to join the Comintern on the issue, but again i got kicked out.
This event triggers a transfer of a province, Constanta from Bulgaria to Romania. Is it possible this problem is happening because I can't give Constanta to Romania, which no longer exists?
If so, how can this be fixed?
I'll try to attack a savegame if required.
