Holy Roman Vassals

If I have an Elector of the HRE as a vassal, are they obliged to elect me? Or do they still go with their friendliest Catholic country? (Yes, my relation with Bavaria was +194 when I vassalized them, but I'm a really, really bad boy, and it goes down fast )

I thought it would, but it's now over seventy years since my last monarch was elected, and we've been in Regency for over forty of them, so I have no clue when I'm going to put it to the test
