Honouring alliance then getting DOW'ed by ally

The following has happend to me twice already.

I as King of Bohemia was allied with France. France declared war on one of his vassals and then asked me to join. I honoured the call and then France and some vassal dukes of France declared war on me.

A few decades later, I am now allied with Byzantine, Byzantine declares war on one of his vassals, ask me for support I honour it and then Byzantine declares war on me.

Same for me as King of France allied with king of Germany : he DoW'ed count of Brabant, asks me to honour our alliance. I said yes, and he DoW'ed me !!
 
Just like in real life, it's a bad idea to get involved in a civil war...
