Hello! So I was trying to play multiplayer with my wife and we both tried to join each other’s game. When we tried, we each got the error message, “the host has a different version of the game.” So, I uninstalled the game, deleted all my save files from my Xbox and hard restarted my Xbox one X. My version of the game is: V2.2.7.0.44059. I have all the available DLC for stellaris console edition installed. No matter if I uninstall or not, the version will not update.

She has not. The reason I deleted mine and she hasn’t is because her version of the game allowed her to join multiplayer, but it didn’t allow me. I have even tried just joining random peoples lobbies, with no luck.

Still? I wonder if this is related to the early access thing. Have you tried disabling DLC?

I just turned all my DLC off and then restarted the game and it still seems to be unchanged. It still says “Host has another version of the game.” It shouldn’t be the early access stuff because Mobius and I had the early version of synthetic dawn, and played together I believe.

I wonder if mobius is having issues....
