I was happily playing away when I was hit by the water shortage notice. So I went to check what the issue was. My wells were dry, my tanks were almost out of water (Out of a total of 1K stored water) and before I got new wells online 60 colonists died from dehydration.

So, I'm thinking maybe give a warning when the water deposits hit 25 or 10% remaining volume. Gives you some time to set up new sources.

On the subject of warnings: Maybe have a warning when your colony starts tapping into the stored O2, water, and power? Would be nice. along with a warning when a stored resource is gonna run out. Like we have with the physical materials.
