I tried to mod the pops of switzerland, replacing the switzerland.csv file by 3 csv files for south_german, french and north_italian cultures. then i modded the swiss.inc file to give it those 3 cultures and remove the swiss one which is of no use anymore.

I have made sure that the lines for these new csv were properly written down on the 1836.eug.

But when i start the game i have no population at all in the provinces, although i have the three state cultures in the state ledger.

where is the problem then ?

help !!!!!!

Do not edit .csv files with excel, 90% of the cases the file will not work. Use simple notepad/wordpad instead.

To fix the file, just open any other .csv file with wordpad, paste the content from the not-working one and save under a new name.
Cheers
