How do I access "garments of the Holy Roman empire" if i live in australia and wasn't able to preorder

I've been so frustrated trying to access to this. Australians were totally left in the dark about pre-order bonuses until yesterday and I feel extremely ripped off that I can't access this bonus content which I really wanted.

I bought the game on gamesplanet (which had been recommended by you tubers officially endorsed by Paradox Interactive) since it wasn't available on steam on release day. Since paradox was totally silent about Australian pre-order bonus issues until yesterday I had to figure it out for myself so I had no idea that buying like this would make it impossible to access this specific content I wanted.

"In regards to the Pre-Order bonuses, we have decided to extend the Pre-Order Bonus window only on Steam for all our Australian fans until Monday Sep. 21, 19:00 CEST.
This way you too will get a chance to don the Garments of the Holy Roman Empire! "

this was the message on steam yet I don't see any way of accessing this content without purchasing the entire game again. If this can't be resolved then I'm afraid I'll have to demand a full refund considering I thought I was purchasing content that I didn't receive.

I apologise if this sounds rude but I was really excited for the cool new clothes so i feel very let down now. If there is any possible way i can access this content without having to re-purchase the game all over again I would appreciate it so much.

If you purchased the game on another site, then the preorder issue should be addressed with them. Thats not really a Paradox issue

That offer refers to purchases from then on, not ones previous to that announcement. And it only applies to sales directly on Steam up to that date, not from any other store including ours.

We did keep the forums updated as much as we were able to, I'm sorry that wasn't enough for you.

If GamesPlanet say they sold you a pre-order edition then it is up them to do so, regardless of where you live. Is that the situation or you bought a non-pre-order edition from them?

As has happened with other pre-order bonuses such as EU4 and Stellaris I expect these items to be separately available at some point in the future.

That is not correct.

According to the Kotaku Australia article, "Crusader Kings 3 is being delayed and its not clear why", in the days leading up to the release of Crusader Kings 3 as well as the release day itself there was no concrete answers to issues surrounding when it would be available in Australia or how the pre-order bonus content could be obtained. Even the Australian classification board itself claimed that Paradox had not given them sufficent information.

I understand that this is very exciting and busy time for Paradox employees, so I am sympathetic that some things may be looked over by accident. We are all only human. However it feels like I have been cheated out of $88 AUD and the only way for me to obtain the content I thought I was paying extra for in the first place is to purchase the exact same game again, only with a $20 larger price tag on steam. I hope this adequately conveys why I feel frustrated and ripped off.

If there is any possible way that I can access this one piece of content without getting a refund and having to buy the game again that would be the most ideal solution.

Despite this unfortunate issue, I still want to convey my appreciation for employees who are helping Crusader Kings III players resolve their issues with the game. Thank you and hopefully there can still be an easy fix to my problem.

That is true, it was because we did not know that at that time. As soon as we knew we updated the community here in th ethread dedicated to that topic.

Did GP say they sold you a pre-order version, or not?

Here is the advertisment that was on Gamesplanet for the specific version of Crusader Kings 3 I purchased. There was no indication that the pre-order bonus would not be included when I bought the game. When I contacted Gamesplanet last night this image was still up on their website (they may have altered it now that I have brought it too their attention)

Gamesplanet claims they did not sell me the game including the pre-order bonus, yet on the day of release this is what their website was advertising, with no asterisk to indicate that the bonus would not be available after launch.

I am sorry that has happened to you but it is now clearly a fault of GP, ISTM it is up to them to provide you with what you paid for.
