Hey all.
I haven't been around the forums in a long while. However, with the news about new Surviving Mars content coming up, I got to playing it again to refresh myself. I've always wondered about my save games. I built a few pretty nice colonies over several months of play. I would hate to lose them if my computer died, and I'd like to be able to play the colonies on new computer if I get one.
I remember last year or so, I fiddled around with save games. Don't remember where I found them. However, I do remember that if I moved or copied the saves outside of the game, they got "lost" and I lost access to them in-game. Couldn't load those save games.
So is there a way to properly and safely back up the save games, and be able to load them in-game?
