How do I get 4.0.9?

In Steam I'm set to play the stellaris_test beta, and have been playing 4.0.7 without issue. (except typos I file in bug reports.) However, now I hear there is a 4.0.9... but there doesn't seem to be any way to access it on steam. There's a 4.0.8 rollback, and stellaris_test gets me 4.0.7. I already tried opting out of the beta and then opting in again, Stellaris still says it's version 4.0.7. What do I do?

Have you tried opting out any beta selection and staying opted out? 4.0.9 is the latest, regular patch release. It should automatically patch to it unless something wacky is going on with steam in your end.

4.0.9 is current standard non-beta

steam has a setting under the game to manually check and force update on game launch
