I love HOI2DD. It is a great game, except for one thing that keeps returning back to annoy me. Early on in my playing I edited a few of the reaserch files, namly tech teams and reaserch dificulty. After I got used to the game I wanted to change the edited values back to their original setting, but I can't find out how to do that. I have tried uninstalling the game and deleting all traces I can find, but when I reinstall the game the values are still edited. Any help would be nice. I am running windows vista and have had no other major glitches will the game.

I just went through and did some tests. I uninstall the game from my computer. I then reinstall it using the regular install. The game runs fine right after it is installed, all the changes I've made are gone. I then turn off my computer for whatever reason. When I turn my computer back on and run either Doomsday or Armageddon, it says three pieces of text are missing (from the intelligence tab). Then when the game loads, all the changed values are back and my old saved games (that I deleted) are back. Anyone know why this is happening?
