How do I reconize the Alliance Leader?

This message has been already posted in the General Discussion Forum but I did not reveive an exhaustive answer.

One of my main problems is to reconize who is offering peace to me. Maybe I've to study the interface better but I don't know (when someone is offering peace treaty to me) if I'm going to make peace with the leader of an opposite alliance or with a member (separate peace). Could anyone explain me how to reconize that? Thanks.

Look at the shields above: if it says separate peace, you'll make separate peace.

And usually, leader of the alliance is the nation that DOWs you or whom you DoW.

Also, if you bring up diplomatic screen and watch with whom are you at war with, then the first enemy nation in the list is leader of alliance.

Also, the nation listed first on either side in the current wars page in you ledger is the war allaince leader.
