Suppose I created a Scandinavian flag for some odd reason, how do I replace Sweden's flag with it?

EDIT: Just realized I posted this in the wrong subforum
 
Just replace the original files (flag_XXX.bmp and shield_XXX.bmp) with the new ones in \Hearts of Iron\GFX\map\shields and \Hearts of Iron\GFX\map\flags.
