How do I use dragons?

Uhh... Its been a while since I played the mod...
Lets say I am playing as Aegon, do I use my sisters as the main commanders of the side flanks or I let the AI assign highest martial stat characters?

Use your sisters as commanders and they will use their dragon tactics
