I cant see any button to load troops onto the transport planes i have in the province...

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
You can only load paratroops onto transport planes, I believe - they will have a little button (looks like a Parachute, IIRC) to click to load/unload said troops.

That makes no sense. So if i want to transport troops off island, i have to use transports? Then how did germany move franco's troops in the event?
Also, i now have paratroopers stuck on an island. If i load them onto the transport,s the transports only have the air supply command and flat out refuse to transport the paras anywhere else. Wtf?

The ORG-level of the transports has to be at 100% in order to airtransport.
Also you can't airtransport paratroopers to provinces you own yourself.
I dont see why i cant spend however many weeks i want flying repeated trips to transport an entire division and equipment, if i have sufficient time and and planes.

You can't split a division so it always be airtransported as one unit in one mission
You can march or strategically deploy the paratroopers to that province and rebase the airplanes. It is one of the weird things in HoI that you can't airtransport your paratroopers to friendly provinces.
That only paratroopers can use planes is a design-decision

If you are moving from one friendly province with an airbase to another friendly province with an airbase, can't you load your paratroopers and then rebase the transport to the new province (with the paratroopers on board) and then manually deplane them? I seem to recall being able to do it this way.
Game refuses to give you rebase option when transported, so you have to airborne assault your own territory.
I got military access from egypt and now im trying to use the aibase in cairo as a staging point for a paratrooper assault. Problem : The transport planes refuse to rebase there...i just get "none" as the mission option.

One way or the other this isn't anything we have control of. All of these sort of things are hard coded by Paradox.
