I bought this game a while back & liked it. Tried to play it with my wife with her using the gamepad & me on the keyboard. Gamepad was to much of a hassle so I bought my wife her own copy of Magicka so we could play together online. We don't have a home network set up.

Yesterday I tried to host a game online for just my wife & I however my server doesn't show up on her server list. Why is that? Why can't she see my server? Yes, all server filters are off. Do I need to change a port? If so how do I do that? I just want to be able to play Magicka with my wife. How do I go about setting up a server she can join?

Sometimes you need to forward ports if your router blocks them by default, however I can't remember which they are.

Sometimes inviting to game through your Steam Friends list has a LOT more success btw, try that.

You gotto finish The stars are left to unlock it!

Regarding multiplayer. Invite through steam - great workaround until the mp lobby gets fixed.
