How do you change the shield

Hello all,

Is there a way to change the shield logo to one of your choice for the province prior to starting the game.
I right click on one of the provinces at it only allows me to swap provinces but not the shield. Is it possible to swap/change the shield.

Do you mean you want to select a different country to one of the major ones (like Orissa or something) or that you want to change the coat of arms for a country?

If it is the first one then right click on the shield (like you did0 and then left click on the shield you want.

If it is the second, then there are mods out there that let you change countries' coats of arms.

I just want to change/swap the coat of arms from another province to the one I would like to play. Can this be done only by a mod? When I right click the province at the top and then left click from the drop down box the coat of arms change and the province to the one I select.
I would like to select a diferent coat of arms only.

The shields each represent a country in the game that you can play; Each has a unique coat of arms.

If you want to play one country but have a different flag or shield for that country, then you need to change the files (i.e. mod the game). You cannot select one country and try and select a different coat of arms for that country.
