Ok here's my point. I want to create a country for a personal scenario. But I would like to have the option to put it in the game or not, like in the fantasy option of the IGC, would that be hard to do? Do i need an aplication like Visual Basic?

I have no idea and wouldn't sugges ttrying to do so. Doomie made that thingy and he won't be here to explain it to u so I wouldn't bother ...

U could just make 2 scenario files.

It would take some time and some careful editing

but you could do it. Doomie's java program merely reads the entries in text.csv and the 1492.inc file.

Of course, before you did so, you should definitely back up your originals! My biggest put-off with these kinds of mods is making typos and then having to track them down. That is one reason I am drawn more to making other changes like in the IGC+.

It's java?! Shit, I don't know how to use that, well it's to bad. I mean, adding one like square where you can choose to add my contry would have be easy to do like in visuale basic, but jave :(

No matter what you do, the only thing you will be able to see in EU is your scenario and whatever countries it has.

Doomie's program (IGC Config) changes the IGC scenario file and eug file based on whatever options you choose. But the scenario information needs to exist already. So, you have to make up the scenario information anyway. Easier then, to just copy the IGC scenario file and put your stuff in it. You don't need a program.
