What are you going to do? Add a lane to an existing road?
If so, then I have to disappoint you, you can add lanes, but the road won't get wider.
You can change a parking lane into a driving lane on a road with a parking lane, because these parking lanes are narrower than the normal lanes, which might not look so great.
