So I'm playing as a custom Valyrian character as ruler of Elyria and i was wanting to change the culture there. Is his possible and how come when I colonize Velos (culture is already Valyrian) it turns to Elyrian if I am Valyrian?

Valyrian is a culture that is dying out, also you cannot convert any province to your culture. It's disabled.

Is there a console command then to change the culture? Right now I'm trying to keep the Valyrian traits without inbreeding. I would just marry Lysene characters to my Valyrians but their faith prevents the marriage. Also the two or three Families in Volantis aren't the best at having good traits that I've seen so far.

You can change a characters culture by typing: culture charID high_valyrian .. and ethnicity by typing gfx_culture charID high_valyrian

Like I said, the event is disabled.

There should be a way to change culture, maybe just vanilla with nerfed probabalities so culture is likely to change in 200 years or so.
Make that like 300, since Targs were always High Valyrian for all 260 something years of their rule.

Well, what I always did is colonize some place with valyrian culture; say velos as you already brought that province up, then you switch your capitol to velos as soon as colonization begins. Once colonization is complete the colony acquires the culture and religion of your capitol province; which would be valyrian/valyrian in this hypothetical case and is why when you tried to colonize Velos before it acquired Elyrian culture since that was your capitol province I'm guessing. Now any further places you colonize should also acquire the Valyrian culture as long as your capitol remains the same. Hope that helps, sorry if it doesn't.

There's a submod floating around somewhere, "Dragonize Castle" I believe, that lets you essentially torch a province you've occupied during a war and leave it in complete ruin if you have a dragon. If you get the submod and are willing to be a complete and utter monster, you could completely destroy everything in Westeros and/or Essos to replace it with Valyrians, but that'd take a lot of money and patience since you'd also have to rebuild every improvement to each holding.
