How to create/copy event?

I could use some help whit some events. I want to create an event where i can get martial , finesse and charisma. Maybe even population growth but first 3 before that. Is there a manual somewhere where i can learn how to make. I thought about copying an event , deleting the stuff that i do not need , (i tried to copy an 7008 that was fish supply event +10% population growth from 2.1 Rome folder)but that did not work because there was no number. Usually in events you see a number and description that gives you away but maybe i am just so blind or stupid. It has happened to me before. I am big paradox fan and i would relay like the help because i want to make Rome big and strong fast.

When you register your game, you'll get acces to several fora in which your problem is discussed extensively.

It's fairly easy to copy the events you want. Just create a new text file (any name will do; the game reads all *.txt files in the events folder), copy/paste the event, change the id number to one that isn't already taken, change effects and texts and you're done.

Thank you for your help. I just bought the game and forgot to do it sorry. Just wanted to play fast
