After a bit of playing with the lord of Old Wyk (iron isles) I've noticed that the lowest level education traits are running rampant in my family. looking at the files gives an explanation: learning is to low.

But how do I get the learning of my characters up to improve those education traits, whilst still keeping up a high martial score and combat traits?
Note: raiding for tutors is not an option, The iron isles ended up as a part of the rock (long story), and it doesn't look like that's going to change soon.

Yeah, that's a problem I frequently find myself in. Even my geniuses frequently end up inept. I've tried passing my kids between high education tutors and such, but it doesn't seem to help. It sucks, but there's not much you can do about it; It's just how the education system is. Wouldn't be so bad if you could improve all education traits, rather than just the military one.

It would be pretty cool if improving education trait became an ambition, as well as being able to improve your education trait if you serve in the appropriate role for your liege.
