How to get more courtiers?

I only have 2 courtiers left, I can't even appoint a new Master of Ceremonies.
I didn't give any land to my courties, only my sons so I'm only losing them to old age.
Do courties marry on their own? I don't seem to have to option find wives for my courtiers so how do I get new ones?

Court looking a bit deserted these days. That dude kneeling in the corner is my Master of Arms. He's 77, and he came with some Ronin I recruited.

LOL... My 3 sons are my vassals, but weirdly their few male children died very young.. I have lots of female courtiers... no males left at all..

Ok, well after taking more care about marriages and my heirs etc I'm getting better results. Also I seemed to have massive influxes of courtiers for no apparent reason now and then... Sometimes 4 or 5 at a time, maybe cause my honour was 60+. Persevere or start again? Avoid inbreeding. And manually sort out all your heirs marriages preferably by the time they are 16.
