I have the German version and am only adequate at reading German. I have seen many references to establishing royal marraiges to improve relationships with other countries, but I have not figured out how to do this or where I can see the list of marraigeable royalty currently available. Can anyone help me out here?

Also, what kind of impact will this have?

There are no limits as such, exept you need diplomats to establish them as was said. And as you try to establish with states with bad relations with you and or different religion you see it is a lot more difficult to actually get them established...

About royal mariages :

Declaring war to a country to whom you are 'married' gives you a -1 stability penalty, cumulative with other penalties.

Having a royal mariage with a country allows you to 'see' into his territories (fog of war removed). I couldn't say if the AI has the same benefit and use it as the fog of war over your countryis also removed for the other side eyes.

Mariages are required if you want to vassalize.

Mariages, when accepted, slightly improves your relationshipswith the targeted country.
