I would really welcome any link to a proper guide (vic3 wiki is qite poor and outdated) or at least some tips how to best start to learn how to mod vic3. Consider me complete beginner (i mod just a few easy things many years ago in ck2 & vic2... stuff like changing some values of modifiers or rearrenging technology ....). Don'tmind if there are coming big changes with to modding with next dlc, since I would first like to grab some basics withiout any worry and stress from future changes....
 
The basics are much the same as CK2 and Vic2. Start small by changing a few values here or there. Then copy an existing event, technology, etc. as a template to add your own. Most of the scripting is fairly obvious for what it does, and if you run into something you can't figure out, the quick questions thread is a great place to get that sort of help.

Thanks for the kind encouragement. I jumped into it, and I just finished first few balance tweaks from my long to-do-list! :D
