How to move mods folder out of Documents

So, some background first:
I'm subscribed to like 7 GB of CK2 mods. These get put in Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings 2/mods.

This is not a problem in itself.

I want to use the Free OneDrive cloud backups. This has a 5GB limit and you can select to back up your entire desktop, documents, and pictures folders. You cannot backup only part of the folder with the free version.

So, I want to move the entire Paradox Interactive folder out of my documents. Can I do this without breaking my game? How would I do so?

Any help is appreciated. Running windows 10, this is a laptop so only one drive.
