The question we must ask ourselves is what is the Paradox Triumph studio for, which must start working in the first half of this year (Obviously the recruitment is almost finished, there is only one vacant position left).
Uhm we pretty much do our own thing, having kept creative control means we get to work on our own projects. Aside from that, I:R doesn't fit the skill set our studio has (Tactical 4X/RPG, Creator Engine) so I'm not sure why we're being considered in this situation xD

Salvation. So I know I don't speak English well, but the link is easy to do anyway (do I need to explain?).

Unless I missed something, the studio is new?
So at what point we can find out what you are doing there. Not to mention that if I ask you which game you started working on, you're never going to tell us.
Well we were acquired by Paradox in mid 2017 for our experience in the 4X Genre and the Age of Wonders IP (plus we get along swimmingly). Since then we've released Age of Wonders: Planetfall in 2019, the final expansion for that was released November 2020 and active development of that title ended in May 2021. We definitely haven't been silent for the past 4-5 years ;) Of course I can't say what we've been working on since the end of Planetfall but I can assure you it's not I:R.

Unless you were thinking of Paradox Tinto? Which was opened in 2020 and is responsible for the Europa Universalis IP.

If I can make a suggestion... More Overlord! Because 13 years without more Overlord is just too long.
We're not the owners of the Overlord IP I'm afraid. Those right lie with Codemasters and since they've been acquire by EA probably them

I thought it was a new studio because all the job postings are for the first half of 2022.
Aha those are just the internships, we usually have several of those. They're always set for the first or second half of the year and align with most Universities. A bunch of us here at Triumph were kept on after our internships or in some unique cases had interned here in the past. But yea, we're not really new. Both as a Studio that was founded back in 1997 and considering our acquisition by Paradox in 2017.

Anyways, I think I have derailed this topic enough. Sadly I don't know anything about I:R that you guys don't already know so in that regard I can't be much of an help.

I wonder if the Triumph guys just randomly browse the forums for the games they’re interested in, or if they actively look for mentions of their studio to see if there’s any question being directed at them (or if anyone is talking smack ).
It's mostly just me since I'm the one the generally handles forum stuff but I keep track of most active PDX game forums. So I usually check General Discussion & Forum Help and then work down the line with Vicky 3, CK3, Surviving the Aftermath, Cities, Stellaris, EU4, HoI4, Empire of Sin, I:R, Surviving Mars and Age of Wonders: Planetfall. reading some dev diaries or threads that sound interesting.

Ok, thanks for the reply.
No problem, I'm always happy to answer any Triumph related questions there might be.
