I have a CD copy of Victoria and purchased Revolutions via GG, I have added official patches but I have also added some mods.
What I would like to do is go back to just regular Victoria with Revolutions and the latest official patches (in other words just erase the mods and "unofficial patches"). Is there a "best way" I have to do this to ensure nothing is left over that may cause bugs or crashes and what happens with my Revolutions game that I purchased via GG? Do I have to reload it completely from GG?

Thanks for any and all answers.

Hmmmm. I guess I will just delete and reload and see what happens.

Hmmm. Not sure where everyone is.

Have you read this post? :)

The quick answer is, you have to delete and reload.
Most mods override some of your core gamefiles, so you can't restore the game to the original condition.

By the way, don't just use the official patch for revolution,(it's allready included in new rev downloads.) download OHGamers unofficial hofixes to.

And one last thing, the best way to play a mod with Victoria, is to make a copy of the original game directory, and then install the mod on to this copy.

OK. Ill give it a whirl, thanks bro.
