This problem started appearing in 1.05c.
Problem:
The intro movie can't be skipped, as before, by mouse click or any key on the keyboard.
Using escape will stop it, however, the AVI player does not close and the HOI start-up freezes.
Solution:
Simply let the movie play out on start-up, the game will load, and performs no worse than under previous patches.
But I still want to know how to turn off the intro movie, because it has become very annoying. Renaming the AVI movie file does not help.
Also what do the first 3 lines in the configuration files do?
