I'm using the version of the mod from right before the current one was released and would like to know how to create additional holy orders for the Forn Sidir faith after having converted virtually all of the Slavic, Finnic, and Baltic pagans over to the viking side of things.
Creating some additional holy orders for other religions is also on my mind as I thought I'd spice up the world's events and decisions a bit due to how much it diverged from OTL.
Generally, my thoughts are as follows:
A western slavic (light and heavy) cavalry focused Norse Holy order, some sort of shield maiden (and thus enactic succession) holy order that's fairly generalist, an eastern slavic order with a focus on pikes, heavy infantry, and some heavy cavalry, a steppe based holy order that focuses on horse archers and light cavalry drawn from converts from the steppes of the far east and a Baltic archer and light infantry heavy holy order. are what I have in mind for the Norse.
For the other faiths I'm also imagining some sort of counter-norse order for the Tengriists, Orthodoxists, and Catholics, while the Orthodox byzantines also would get an order that dedicates itself to battling the Zoroastrian Persians for rulership of mesopotamia, while another would generally be equipped for what is needed for fighting cavalry heavy armies coming from Hungary, Crimea, and Persia.
However, the issue is that I have no idea how to go about this and am somewhat wary of just experimenting until I get it right for fear of breaking my game something fierce. And I'm even shakier on how to create the flavour events and decisions to go with them so that they're more than just mercenaries who work for piety instead of cash.
As an aside: I've found that the Jomsvikings have been unrecruitable for centuries after vassalizing them and I don't get a tooltip explaining why I can't hire them, what gives?
