In all of my games with DAIM so far there are huge opposing stacks just sitting acoss from each other, constantly building and building (to huge amounts, lik 80 divisions etc)

one example is the suez canal area, italy+axis allies will throw dozens and dozens of divsions vs. the british+allies dozens and dozens of divisions, no one moves the stack around or tryes to encircle them or anything, they just sorta keep stacking and stacking troops without ever attacking/moving around.

another example is the USA just landed about 12 divsions off a small greek island - which is pretty cool, except then it started to transport dozens more divisions, so germany countered by just stacking 54 divisions across from the island, while USA just keeps transporting more divisions there, with no one moving.

This is good in some sense I guess since the AI knows to defend against huge stacks, but in another sense its horrible as stacks of armies just sit there building and building without ever moving, essentially "wasting" resources as no advance is really made.

This usually happens on islands, or on two opposing points where there is only 1 way across (like suez canal etc)

Might be hard to solve this problem but it really hurts the game !

thanks

We are aware of this problem and have found a workaround .
The problem is , that we have to code this workaround for every possible stacking area.
In the paicfic we have reduced this for the most "popular stacking sides".
For the next DAIM I'll see where also to implement this workaround
