Will the ai human faction be a predetermined one with set ethics and government or a randomly generated faction?

Would be nice if they could become pre-spacefaring race as well. Pretty please, PD.
1. Start as reptilian.
2. Find Earth
3. Infiltrate their government and secretly control their planet.
4. ???
5. I have no idea what's the use of it.
This wouldn't work because the game starts in the future where obviously #3 has already taken place.

Quote?Randomly generated
Yeah, I don't think they said anything specific about the ethics of the humans so that's speculation.I know it has been stated that the Sol system will be represented in game and I thought there was a premade human that was the only stock race you were likely to encounter.
It could be that the pre-set (non-player) humans are always "United Nations of Earth" with a specific ethos. Or it could be random. Only thing they said for sure is that they will start in Sol.
Heh, again, United Nations of Earth (UNE), not United Nations (UN). It could be organized in all sorts of ways and have much more authority and ability to act than the UN. Maybe the discovery of aliens put Earth in a permanent state of emergency and "United Nations of Earth" is really the name used by a military oligarchy to increase their legitimacy. If humanity is ruled by the United Nations, it's safe to assume all plausibility and realism have been tossed aside.
I wonder if you can find pre FTL humans (like modern day humans, or even medieval times humans) if you don't start as them. I mean, I know you can find primitive species on random planets, and I know you can find humans if you aren't them, but I don't know if you can find primitive humans. It would be cool, if possible.
What would be interesting is to have several different human factions that you could discover in the galaxy.
Of course, there would be the main human empire, but there could also be other factions that left Earth long ago for political reasons (for example a heavily militaristic and xenophobic faction that considered the human democracy "too soft" and set up a fascist regime in another solar system.) or an old colonial expedition that lost contact with Earth.
